IMPORTANT: If you format an image storage location, protected pictures are deleted from that location.
1. Connect the camera to your computer. If you have EasyShare software installed, close the Transfer window when it appears.
2. Double-click My Computer and then double-click the camera icon.
3. Do the following.
u Double-click an image storage location. If you opened the Picture Card folder, pictures are stored in the DCIM/camera folder. For help on locating pictures, click here.
u Right-click the picture and select Properties.
u In the Attributes section, select Read-only to protect the picture. To unprotect the picture, clear the check box.
u Click OK.
